SALVATION ARMY ANGEL TREE

"Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it." (Hebrews 13:2)

Once again, we are excited to announce our partnership with The Salvation Army in Asbury Park. Together, we will provide toys and/or clothing for children and families who are less fortunate than ourselves. Participating in this initiative will not only allow us to make Christmas brighter for our local neighbors, but it will also give us the opportunity to put our faith into action. The tree will be placed in the sanctuary on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, which falls on November 26th. You will find 100 tags on the tree, each representing a gift that you can contribute. Let's come together and make a difference in the lives of those in need this holiday season.

Simply take a tag from the tree and purchase an appropriate gift for the child. Each tag contains information such as the child's gender, age, and their gift request. You are not obligated to buy every item listed on the tag.

Please return your unwrapped gift to the church, making sure to affix the angel gift tag to it and place it under the tree. All gifts must be returned to the church no later than Sunday, December 10th. The Salvation Army will be picking up all toys on Monday, December 11th. If the toy requires batteries, please include them. Remember, do not wrap the gift and make sure to attach the entire tag to the present.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call Tom or Arlene Malanga at 732-686-9672. On behalf of the many children whose Christmas will be brighter because of your generosity, we extend our heartfelt thanks and blessings to you for being an angel.
